Saturday 21st September


'A' - FEINDSDALE HEAD - Meet at Aldi CP, Higher Bridge Street BL1 4HJ at 9.00.  Walk starts at 10.00 from the car park 1.5 miles NW of Chipping GR

602 442.  Blindhurst, Higher Fairsnape, Home House, Hazelhurst, Fiendsdale Head, Fairsnape, Parlick 12 miles.


'B' - WINTER HILL - Meet at George's Lane BL6 6RT , Horwich for 10.30 start.George's Lane, Trig Point, Holden's. Hordern Stoops, Bungalow Grounds,

Derbyshires.9 miles.


'C' - WORTHINGTON LAKES - Meet at  the Tree Barn, Blundell Lane. BL6 5LP Walk starts at 10.30.Blackrod Bottoms, Crawshaw Hall, Worthington Lakes, Arley Hall, Blackrod.6 miles.


Wednesday 25th September


1) NEW BUTTERWORTHS - Cars to Batridge Road CP BL7 0NF (NOT the car park signed Batridge Barn) for 10.30 start. Wayoh Reservoir, Chapeltown, Turton Tower, Torra Manor, Eagley, Dunscar Bridge, Dunscar Fold, New Butterworths, Batridge Road. 8.5 miles.


2) HEMPSHAWS - Meet at Rivington Hall Drive BL6 7SB for 10.30 start.

Rivington, Yarrow Reservoir, Allance Bridge, Lead Mines Clough, Hempshaws, Wil Nar, Belmont Road, Pigeon Tower, Brown Hill, Knowle House, Rivington Hall Drive. 8.5 miles.


3) KIRKLEES TRAIL - Meet at St Anne's Church, Tottington BL8 3NH . Cars park on Royd Street. By the side of the churchyard for 11.00 start. Kirklees Trail to Burrs via the new Lottery bridge, Summerseat Cricket Ground, Tower Farm, Tottington. 6 miles.

Wednesday number '1' and '2' walks are approx. 8-9 miles but number '2'

walks are at a slower pace. Number '3' walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace, slill. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.


Saturday 'A' walks are approximately 12 miles, 'B' are approximately 9 miles and 'C' are approximately 6 miles.
